ABOUT US
Jacksonville Homeschool Community (JHC) is a social community created exclusively for homeschooled middle and high school students in Northeast Florida. Our mission is to help teens build meaningful friendships through fun, engaging activities and shared experiences.
Each month, we offer a variety of social events, including game days, field trips, workshops, seasonal celebrations, and other activities throughout Duval, Clay, St. Johns, Nassau, and the surrounding areas.
JHC is not a co-op and does not offer academic classes. Our focus is solely on providing opportunities for homeschooled teens to connect, socialize, and build lasting friendships.
Membership is open to homeschooled students in:

Middle School: Grades 6–8 (ages 11–13)

High School: Grades 9–12 (ages 14–18)
JHC proudly serves more than 80 homeschooling families. We also welcome homeschool families from Orange Park, Fleming Island, Middleburg, St. Johns, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, Green Cove Springs, Yulee, Fernandina Beach, and surrounding Northeast Florida communities.
Our Community Expectations
Every youth participant, parent, volunteer, and coordinator plays an important role in creating a positive and welcoming community. We ask everyone to uphold the following expectations while participating in JHC activities:

Treat everyone with kindness and respect.

Bullying, harassment, and derogatory language are not tolerated.

Be an encourager. Choose words and actions that build others up rather than ridicule, embarrass, or criticize.

Participate with a positive attitude and follow the instructions of event hosts, coordinators, and chaperones.
